Historic and peaceful location in the SW area of England, good for visiting Yelverton.

The location of the venue is particularly good, short walk to best of all Dartmoor right on the doorstep, the datmoor national Park and Plymouth nearby for shopaholics. Came here for a christmas and I will be returning here soon.

The Old School House in Yelverton is possibly the best and quite comfortable stay for Dartmoor holidays. The location is marvelous, in a lovely area just off the park, two pubs, and Plymouth, and close to main routes. It's situated only 1 km from Drake's Leat, making it perfect for exploring the area.

We had an EXCELLENT christmas with gorgeous breakfast.

Loved it and would go back in flash. Quaint hotel, all we needed for short stay in Yelverton. The breakfast was delicious and perfect for what appeared to be mould in the homemade jam with local food. The room was well-appointed on upper level and the location was ideal.

Unusual and interesting conversion of an old school house. Comfortable and well appointed. Tasteful if slightly "quirky" style. Friendly hosts with good local knowledge. Excellent breakfast with local, good quality products. Delicious homemade bread and conserves.

Loved the stay, it was real good for Dartmoor holidays. Everything was modern, competent stuff, particularly nice views of the village. The hotel was close to area restaurants and Dartmoor and easy access to Plymouth and main routes thanks to its peaceful location.

Great location in a beautiful and peaceful area, with handy convenience stores and shops nearby. 🌳

Place was quirky and silent, enjoyed the stay.

The location was stunning, next to Wildwood Arts Dartmoor. Overall it was reasonably large, with a private bathroom.

The hospitallity was exceptional lovely place nice decor friendly atmosphere

The matress was extremely firm which was uncomfortable for us both as we have a memory foam mattress at home, so not a good nights sleep

I recently stayed at a lovely guest house in the Dartmoor area and had a fantastic experience. the value for money was excellent, with affordable prices for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive, with clean rooms and nice bedding that made for a pleasant night's sleep. The location was perfect, nestled in the small village of Horrabridge, providing a peaceful and idyllic getaway. The staff were friendly and accommodating, catering to my dietary requirements by providing a well-stocked fridge with all the essentials, including complimentary water. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast, where the homemade jam was a standout.

All was great, no improvements needed.

The Old School House is in a very tranquil position, set in beautiful surroundings an ideal spot for a romantic break. The interior is done to a very high standard with all the facilities you require. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is top class, could not fault it any way, my only grumble would be that we couldn't stay any longer.

The Old School Guest House in this lovely area is an absolute gem. The attention to detail is superb, with beautiful original artwork displayed in the rooms. The staff provide excellent service and are very accommodating, even catering for extra dietary requirements. The location is perfect for exploring both Devon & Cornwalls coast, with easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms are well-equipped, with a fridge and fresh water supplied. The breakfast spread is fantastic, although I must admit I had a minor concern with the homemade jam, but everything else was just delicious.
